Victory Conditions: 17 Supply Centers during a Winter build phase
Rules are the same as for regular Diplomacy.
MAP NOTES
- There is a land bridge between Panamá and Colón. This land bridge can be used in either direction by armies and/or fleets.
- The Panamá Canal is represented as a border between two open sea zones. Fleets can pass freely between GOM and GOP, without occupying Panamá or Colón. This representation of the Panamá Canal is purely experimental, and may be changed in future versions of the game.
- Louisiana’s largest city is “Nawlins,” not New Orleans. This is to serve as an education as to the appropriate pronunciation of the city’s name, provided by your designer, who went to college in Mississippi and spent many, many weekends in the Crescent City. 🙂
CHANGES FROM REAGAN1 TO REAGAN2 TO REAGAN3
- As of Reagan2, builds are back to the Standard paradigm of building only in your home SCs.
- Pacific is now passable, and the Pacific theatre is divided into 4 spaces.
- Costa Rica is now passable.
- Providence Islands has been deleted; Gulf of Honduras and Gulf of Mosquitoes are now adjacent.
- The southernmost Commonwealth island home SC has been eliminated.
- The borders of Belize and San Salvador have been altered. Belize now borders Tegucigalpa; Guatemala no longer borders Gulf of Honduras. San Salvador now borders Managua; Tegucigalpa no longer borders the Pacific Ocean.
- All home SCs have been changed to city names, as per Diplomacy tradition.
- As many space names as possible have been anglicized (with some exceptions, like Santiago de Cuba).
