Standard Diplomacy rules apply to the Canton variant.
There are a total of 34 supply centres. Ownership of 18 centres in necessary for victory.
Map Notes: Egypt (Egy) and the Constantinople (Con) are canals like Kiel and Constantinople on the standard map. There are six provinces with multiple coasts. These are labelled on the map. Note that Armenia (Arm) has a west coast and east coast. Nepal is impassable like Switzerland on the standard map. There is no canal between the Black Sea (BLA) and Caspian Sea (CAS). Notice that only Russia can occupy the Caspian Sea, by building a fleet in Ukraine (Ukr). Yakutsk (Yak) is not accessible to the North Pacific Ocean (NPO). Egypt (Egy) is accessible to Syria (Syr) and Arabia (Ara).
Canton Diplomacy begins in Spring 1901.
